I have been buying Columbia Bonehead shirts for my husband for many years now. He is an A/C contractor and a Maintenance Supervisor for apartment communities, the shirts get a tough work out and continued washing. They are top quality shirts that have lasted longer than most shirts would have in the professions my husband is in. This shirt is a bit roomy for me but I wanted it to be comfortable when I travel and be able to wear it over a t-shirt. It has many pockets that are good for carrying those things you need on a trip (small camera, IPOD, etc.)

I bought two of this for my boyfriend and he was really please about the fabric and design, the only thing that we found it might be a problem is that the size is bigger than usually, for example he always use Medium and in this one he must use Small.
So, if you're gonna buy one, I would say that you should buy a size smaller that you usually use.
