5No problems yet, though I'm very careful.
By James G. Snyder
I bought these and the crew length liners for my VFF Mocs. These are a very close fitting indoor kangaroo leather version of VFFs. They are so close fitting that these liners are the only possibility for socks to wear with them. Ever the coolmax performance injinji are too thick to wear without going to a size larger, which would defeat my purpose in buying the Mocs in the first place.

I read the original review so it was with great trepidation that I dropped the money for these socks. I want to say that so far, after dozens of wearings that they have given me good service so far. They are very thin, nearly translucent like panty-hose. I admit that I have treated them like kid gloves, pulling them on slowly, cautiously, making sure my nails are trimmed and each toe is nestled into its pocket, but so far no holes or even weak spots in the material. I will update this is I start to see catastrophic failure but so far they have been good.

These are so thin that they make really great sock liners, I have worn them inside a normal pair of socks in my hiking boots and they have been great, I am convinced that this combination would totally eliminate the chance of developing blisters, and I have to admit that they give a uniquely mobile feeling to your your toes have while using such a combination.

For now I'm giving them my endorsement though I suspect that the other reviews have a point and I would caution careful use.

*** another 6 weeks with fair amount of use, (4 washes & 15 to 20 uses)with no holes yet... knock wood! I am not sure about the other users, but I think you need to be very careful putting these socks on, as I said above they are very shear. I am using them both as primary socks and as liners.

There is nothing else quite like these socks, they are like barefoot 2.0, if they can be made stronger or cheaper they will be version 2.1!

2Durability Issue
By Butters9004
I bought three pair of these socks from a local store a few weeks ago and they were wonderful... for these few weeks. I thought these would be perfect to use with my VFFs (lightweight, breathable, prevent rubbing), but they didn't survive that long; each pair got 3 or 4 uses. Holes started popping up, they began to tear easy. Injinji has benefited greatly from VFF users, but stay away from these socks if you plan to use them with your VFFs. My regular Injinji mini crew toesocks are great.

5Toe socks
By Billy E. Mills Jr.
I got these to use with my KSO vibrams 5fingers. before I had these I would get blisters running barefoot in my barefoot shoes now with these socks no more blisters and a bit more padding.
I love them gonna order a few more pair since I only got 2 pair to try them out
